Fractional Thulium Laser Combined with a Topical Growth Factor Serum Increases Hair Density and Thickness in Male and Female Androgenic Alopecia: A Pilot Study

A new treatment consisting of 1927nm fractional laser followed by application of a sterile growth factor solution has potential to treat androgenic alopecia (AGA). [This study sets] out to assess the efficacy of 1927nm laser as a topical assisted delivery system with a proprietary growth factor serum to improve androgenic alopecia, as well as to determine the number of treatments needed.
